Moving from Consuming to Producing

So often classrooms focus on DOK 1 (Recall) and DOK 2 (Skills/ Concepts). Students are asked to repeat, define, or make observations. We need to allow more time in our classrooms for creations, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration. This is where the learning will be coming sticky to so many students.
